Where did my Numbers document go on Mac and iCloud?

A couple months ago i created a spreadsheet to track what i sell in my store and haven't been on it in a couple months.

When I opened numbers on my mac the document wasn't there. I tried looking in iCloud but couldn't find it there either.

Could anybody help me?

NUMBERS didn't save my work - why? Hi, I updated a Numbers spreadsheet yesterday and hit save before closing it (although I'm pretty sure this step isn't necessary) and when I returned to the spreadsheet 30 minutes later the changes had disappeared. Luckily I hadn't made too many changes on this occasion, but this could be devastating and now I don't trust NUMBERS. Has anyone else had this problem? Maybe it was offline and couldn't save to iCloud? Why has this happened & how can I recover my changes (if possible)? I'm using an iMac (late 2015) running Big Sur 11.7 and saving Numbers to iCloud. I have logged in to iCloud and the spreadsheet is also lacking the changes there. Please help.

is there a way to find all numbers docs? Is there a way to find all documents made with Numbers? Lost a tax document I was working on ... if I could just do a search query for all docs made with Numbers, it would help, as I don't use the app much. For example, most Photoshop docs end with a .psd suffix or something similar. But Numbers doesn't have anything. Feeling rather silly. Not a new sensation at all.

iCloud Drive not available in Numbers on iPhone Numbers doesn't show iCloud Drive as a location to open and save files. This is a recent problem, just within the last few months. What's interesting, is that if I open Files and navigate to my Numbers folder, I can open my Numbers documents, edit and save them just fine. It can access the files, it's just not showing it as an available storage location. Numbers can also access my OneDrive account just fine. Things I've checked or tried: In Numbers editing the Locations list does not present iCloud as an option to enable. It is also missing from Settings -> Numbers -> Document Storage In iCloud Drive settings, Numbers is enabled. I've tried toggling it to off and back to on. I've tried removing Numbers, and then reinstalling it. I've tried signing out of iCloud Drive, and then back in. I've been through several restarts, and two updates since this began. The issue appears to be a problem with Numbers, but I don't know how to make it see iCloud Drive again.

If you are looking for a specific spreadsheet, you can filter out all Numbers files by opening Finder then searching for ".numbers" which should return a list of all your spreadsheets. Make sure that it's searching "This Mac" which will include files stored in iCloud Drive.
