I am using Numbers 11.1 (I can't seem to update on my iMac using Catalina 10.15.7). I have a file with several sheets; but, when I go to duplicate one of the sheets, the new sheet does not show up along with the other tabs. This has happened before, but the duplicated sheets would eventually appear (up to several minutes later). But now, they are not appearing at all. What am I doing wrong?

That did the trick! I quit Numbers; and, when I re-opened the program and my file, ALL the sheets popped up as new tabs. I had been clicking "duplicate sheet" so many times that MULTIPLE copies appeared. I ended up being able to use most of them by renaming them; the extras I just deleted. Thank you SO much Olivia. I hope I remember this the next time it happens!

Is it stuck because there are too many sheets, so even after you clicked "Duplicate," the new sheet didn’t show up? You can try scrolling through the sheet tabs, or close and reopen the file, then try duplicating again.
That is a REALLY OLD version of Numbers, which is now at v14.4.
My guess is you are going to see an increasing number of glitches until you update to reasonably recent versions of macOS and the app.

I should be able to get a newer version, but I think I have to get a new Mac (looking at a Macbook to replace my giant desktop) first.
