All videos on iPhone not showing on import in FCPX, is 4K not supported?
I have begun using iPhone for a lot of productions but the transfer to Mac has been extremely hard since day 1. I have iCloud storage, so I'm sure it is because of that, but how do i solve the issue? Below is a list of ways I've tried to import.
- Going to iCloud.com and downloading the footage.
- The problem was it doesn't download in the original quality. Someone said there was a button to download in original but I never found it.
TWO. Using Photos aplication to import
- I have tried to look up tutorials and guides how to use photos and it is nearly impossible to use and even import. Everytime I import I never understand where it imports to.
Three. AirDrop
- This has been the option I use the most. The problem is, it takes too long to redownload from iCloud and then it takes a long time to AirDrop. '
FOUR. Using FCPX Import
- While attempting to import with FCPX, only certain videos showed up, not all videos that were on my iphone showed and I have about 11,000 photos and videos. There was no option to load more. So only part of the clips were imported not all.
What is the best or fastest way to import to FCPX? Also does FCPX support iPhone 4k? Because my FCPX acts ridiculous when playing back footage in 4K.
