Kindle menu is no longer operative.

Ever since updating my kindle app (on iPad) I am unable to get to the menu (library). I know you say to “tap the page” but I have tapped everywhere and get no menu. This is super frustrating coz I want to read a book and can’t get to ANY Of THEM. Plz fix this.
