i recently brought a iPhone from auction and it has activation lock , is there a way i can get the previous own details to contact the as this was a insurance salvage auction

activation lock removal my mum bought a second hand iphone 6 but unfortunately lost a reciept of purchase that had the sellers contact details too. so there isnt any way she can contact the seller and ask him remove the activation lock. kindly help me by removing it from the phone.
