When I hold down on the iMessage app, choices come up to text other people. The problem is that it says their old contact names and not their current contact names. Please help me resolve this problem.

Thanks for your post! We understand that when you force press on Messages, the wrong contact names appear. Do those contacts have more than one entry in Contacts? If so, delete the old contacts.

If the issue persists, try following the troubleshooting steps listed in the article below.

Thanks for the response. If you go to compose a text message, and you type in your contact's name, do multiple entries show up? If so, try tapping the 'i' next to the wrong entry and remove the contact. If you do not see this 'i', or you do not see multiple entries for the same contact, please Contact Apple Support.
