How much longer will my SIM card last?

I’ve had my SIM card since I got an iPhone 6S, which I have had for 4 years until finally just replacing it with an iPhone 11 Pro. What I’m wondering is, will my SIM card work perfectly fine for say another 4 years, or will I need to have it replaced before then?

Hi CJetsYT,

Your sim should be fine as it’s enclosed in the phone. You will likely need a new sim when upgrading to one of the 5g variants of iPhone though.
