Hi. because of a medical condition I have to wear gloves outside for much of the year. Yes I would also like to take some photos of my walks and friends etc. I can get Siri to open the phone, but how can I take a photo using with e=voice or the side buttons - ie, not the touch screen (and no, touch screen gloves don't work as I have to wear multiple layers).

I use it to stop Live Photo (which I don’t like) from turning itself on every time.
Settings, Camera, Preserve settings, then Live Photo turned ON which seems counter-intuitive.
Then turn it off in camera and it stays that way next time camera opens.

Either volume button takes photos.

Make sure the settings are
Settings, Camera, Preserve settings, then camera mode set to Off. That way it will default to Photo each time.
How to preserve camera settings?Many times I open camera for a candid shot and have to reset alas missing the shot while fumbling around because my camera settings are not as they were b4.Thx!
