iCloud for Windows doesn't work on Mac with M1 chip

I am using Parallels on a MacBook with M1 chip. When I open iCloud for Windows, this error message appears:

Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

Outlook is set as the default mail client on my computer, but the same error message continues to appear.
