iPad Pro Locked Out

Bought an iPad Pro 4-5 days ago

I set up 2 step verification, and face recognition

Made a new icloud cuz icloud.com with my name was offered, said why not.

Restarted iPad Pro...

Forgot iPad Pro Login details

Forgot icloud password

Work has been stalled for 2-3 days, ongoing issue, contacted support, went to Apple 'genius' support in person, went through all the bloody things ffs man

Told I can not return iPad Pro even if I have the receipt and get a new one to continue my work...

On step where apple support e-mails your icloud... the info you need.

Don't have access to icloud, told by apple guy on phone call that it will be texted too in like 4 hours...

No progress, work still stalled/postponed.

Essentially, I now own a $2500 paperweight and I made a switch over from Windows Surface Book Pro 2 thinking this was a smart idea. I own $2500 useless garbage now.

Any guidance? Anything can be legal with the terms, etc., or a faster way to open the **** thing cuz I'm not looking to make issues and stall my work further, I just need access, theres 100 percent some person out there that can easily open this thing...
