iPhone alarms are usually silent and do not vibrate.

Never use an iPhone alarm there unreliable and S*** it’s a gamble whether it will actually go off and when they do good luck stopping them if you hit snooze it works if you hit stop it still f***ing snoozes the amount of times I’ve went into someplace hours after I woke up and it will just randomly start going off I don’t get why they can’t just make a normal f***ing alarm that will go off at the time I set andwhen I stop it it stops forever until I turn it back on if they can’t figure out how snooze works they need to remove it because why the f*** have a stop button that only acts like it’s stopped the alarm

My alarms are very quiet. Even with volume full, the alarm is so quiet you can’t hear it. I have an iphone 12 mini

See if this works for you guys— my alarm would never go off either. It always sounded REALLY quiet. Turn off the sleep tracker in your Health app. That fixed the volume immediately! Posted screenshots for you all. Hope this helps!

(basically if your alarm is before the “amount that you told the Sleep app your goal amount of sleep is” periodically it’s going to mute those alarms)

This is happening to me a lot as well. I also have an Apple Watch that charges at night and is always on the charger when this seems to happen. I have missed some pretty important stuff a few times because of this. I’m just going to go back to the old school alarm clock. Ridic.

I’ve tried all the the steps suggested and reset my phone a number of times. The problem seems to be Apple hasn’t fixed anything. There should be no special steps to get a sleep focus alarm to go off and make sound, but here we are. If I have my Apple Watch connected, or even watch notifications silenced and then disconnect the watch the sleep focus alarm will not make sound.

it feels like a timing, or order of operations problem in the software because regular alarms will generally work unless they are timed to go off within the snooze period of another.

SERIOUSLY! iPhone alarm issues

with or without watch sleep tracking, With or without silent mode activated, With or without “stop playing” timer for audio, with or without wireless Apple MagSafe charger phone in landscape or portrait and With or without wearing air-buds. If I set a wake-up alarm I WANT AN ALARM TO SOUND! Plain and simple.

Which means that if you accidentally happens to need 3-4 alarms one morning because of night duties in the home you need to set several alarms with 5-10 minutes in between?

I done this, but the alarm is silenced by any movement, new alarm or SMS coming in at the same time.

On top, if alarm starts off loud, it goes very silent or totally silent within 1 second.

For $2,0000+ that's not something I think would be a feature in a very expensive (for ordinary people very expensive). I believe Apple has a work around, but chose silent alarms as a built-in feature?

Tested on one regular daily alarm. Finally ear-damaging sound. Perfection.

Monday is the ultimate test. Continuous alarms for 90 minutes to track medical procedures for my daughter.

One of these suggestions helped I think. But still feels like a design problem more than user error. If I set an alarm, I want to be notified. Period. Unless I set the alarm sound to None, it should go off. I should not have to check my ringer volume, do not disturb setting, or sleep focus as well. It’s also hard to understand how all these features interact generally. Please work on this Apple. Sincerely, a UX Researcher.

everything ive googled just says “turn your ringer up” its already all the way up. if it even went off it would show the time, snooze and stop buttons but they are never there. apple alarm clock is terrible

This is ridiculous. First, this has been happening since I get my iPhone 14 1.5 years ago. Two, sometimes it works and other times it does not. I have not changed any settings, but my iPhone decides when it wants to function properly. This is not only a basic issue that should always work, it is extremely important. I travel for work including internationally and I cannot rely on my phone to perform as it is supposed to.

So i set 4 alarms from 5:30am to 6am for this morning… DnD automatically comes off schedule at 5am. I made sure after having this issue only 2 days prior for my phone to be on loud, volume up fully & on charge… tell me why this morning when i’ve gone on my phone it was on 100% but showed the apple logo as if it’d been turned off during the night 🤷🏾‍♂️ no alarms gone off n phone as if it’d been switched off??? 2 days of work i’ve missed due to this issue!!!!????

I overslept my flight because of this. The volume is set to maximum. The normal media (video, messengers) is played loudly. And the alarm clock became quiet! I can’t hear it at all during my trips.

Same issue. It’s cost me several plane flights and business meetings. If I set an Alarm it should go off regardless of the “focus” mode and ring silencer. I don’t want to wake up to a telemarketing call, I do want to wake up to set an alarm.
