Amazon sells new and "used" AirTags. One of the AirTags I purchased through amazon arrived registered to another user's apple ID.
I need help- in getting them to remove it from their ID so I can use it.

Unless the original owner enabled "Lost Mode," and included contact information, there is no way to know how to contact them directly. There is no way that you can remove their Apple ID association to these AirTags.
As such, I suggest that you return the AirTag(s), and get a full refund for your purchase.
