i Phone is the worst buy i have ever made

This was the first time i had bought iphone 13 last August (2022), and after one year and three months ( right after the warranty period got over), while it was absolutely working fine and didn't even have a scratch, it stopped working. I took it to the service centre and paid the inspection fee and now they say, the motherboard has some issues and to replace, it would cost 35k.

Just 1 year 3 months and i need to pay more than half of the phones cost to get it repaired. is it really worth buying an iphone then ?

iPhone 13, iOS 16

Hello~ I have had one of my current iPhones for about 8 years and the other for 3 years…never had a problem except replacing the battery in the older of the two. I had an issue with my current iPad but it was taken care of for $49 under my AppleCare plan. Why would you not invest in a few more dollars per month as protection? That’s like driving your car with no insurance or not performing basic maintenance. Things happen and must be planned for in advance. Purchase something else if you like but plan to replace it as well as nothing last forever…well maybe my iPhone SE 1st generation!!
