In Apple Music search, it does not allow me to select a song or artist. Nothing happens when I click into it. I can see others have had this issue. I have had this issue on multiple versions of iOS and different iPhones. Anyone experienced this and resolved it?

Updating to iOS 18.1 seems to have resolved this issue for me.
Same here on iPad Pro M4 on iOS 18.. Apple Music search is buggy as described. While I'm typing in "Depeche Mo" in search box (for Apple Music, not for Library), I get result for the band Depeche Mode and I can tap and it opens all about them. But if I type depeche mo and hit enter/search button, (or tap the first result "depeche mode") I get list with Top Results, Artists, Albums, Songs, Playlists... and those results aren't "tappable" or scrollable, it doesn't register any tap on the screen. Or with Pencil. Everything else is possible to scroll or tap. But results you can't touch.
Having this same issue on my son’s tablet. But I don’t have the issue on my phone. He likes listening to music so it’s a bummer because he still can’t really.
iPad 10th generation running iOS 18.01. My phone I do believe is still on iOS 18. Checked my own iPad which is on iOS 18.1 and the search function works. Going to attempt to update to 18.1 to see if that fixes it. I know that doesn’t appear to be the issue for others but I’m out of ideas.
I'm experiencing the same thing on my iPad Air 4th generation with iPad OS 18.0. I cannot scroll the results page, the page is just locked up even though i can go back to my song library. I also cannot play the results of an Apple Music search as you mention here.
