iOS 18.1.1 Update Issues on iPhone

I’m with you! So far, there’s no audio on my videos, and the focus has gone from my camera.. really hope they don’t try to say it’s intentional. I’m afraid to see what else I uncover, I need both of these issues corrected! Is it possible to uninstall an update?

Sure go ahead & switch . Have you seen all the forums with people frustrated over all the android operating system bugs and glitches? 🤣 If it has technology or tires you’re gonna have trouble with it. 😫

Same problems here — from photo album, sending to messages, the software just fails, no photo but offering a chance to… just send a text. Anybody know a workaround, or must we just wait patiently for Apple to issue 18.1.2? Shouldn’t happen at X.1.1, and sho7ld have been fixed already…

You guys actually going to help fix all the issues that you started with this horrid new update or just continue to let everyone suffer!?? I’ve called 5 times now and haven’t been able to use my notes in over a MONTH!?? This is unacceptable Apple…do your job and fix this mess! If I have to buy a new phone I will never be buying a new Apple product ever again in my life. 

They keep telling me the same every time I call. They pretend like they have no clue what’s going on and it’s complete bs. They finally said the “developers” are working on it well it’s been a month so wth!? Whoever designed that should be fired!!

Hi I haven’t updated yet but the last update changed my voicemail so you can no longer use 121 to hear messages. You have to tap the phone icon on the Home Screen then the voicemail icon to read the transcript and hit the phone number to play the message. All very challenging with no prior warning.

Since the update, my camera struggles to focus, my Photo app crashes, pictures don’t delete if I delete them, I can record videos but cannot replay them and the phone is very glitchy. Sometimes the screen just doesn’t work. iPhone 14 Pro

Yep, I'm finally done with Apple after this latest update of 18.1.1.

I'm in the business where I'm on the phone a lot in my car and after this latest update, my car phone does not work, or more accurately, I sound like I am miles away and people cannot hear me......I've restarted my phone several times and adopted other tricks, but nothing has fixed the issue. My earpods are also affected......Clearly these muppets at Apple never test things thoroughly.....Hello Android !!!!!

Same! I have a brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max that I bought in Bali because they won’t have the 16 available until next year here. It was working amazing and the battery lasted all day. Since this update, my keyboard is all messed up, it messed up my autocorrect to random words I’ve never used especially in WhatsApp (and I have reset the keyboard over 5 times to no avail). Now my battery is draining, it used to last all day, now by 12:30pm I only have half battery left. I am soooo upset. Why do I even do these setting updates when all they do is destroy your phone. My phone was purchased in September, I want to go to Apple and return it for new one!!!!

Agree! I have to reset to get my apps to work. Not happy the formatting; was changed without consent.

This is the first time I’ve had issues with updates. There should be a way to go back to the previous version if there are issues.

There are so many glitches in the new update. They are not letting me change my photo of my Apple ID and then I finally was so tired that I just did it one more time and I did slide to power off and when I went back in it didn’t work. I’m so mad, sad, and disappointed and I wish I never downloaded it

My photo albums are very hard to find. Sometimes you can’t. When you do, the photos inside the album are not in the order you had them. Recent photos go back to 2022. This is the worse update you have ever had. And, it is not just me. I was at a dinner party and everyone at the table was complaining about the same thing. Especially the photo app. No longer can find anything you want in Photos. This is so frustrating!!! Why do you mess witching that is working?

My 15 pro will randomly reboot once or twice a week since I installed 18.1.1. It’s really weird because it usually occurs when I am moving between apps and it’s a super quick reboot, I don’t even see the Apple logo, just the small turning gear wheel in the middle of the screen.

Every darn time Apple updates there’s issues on my phone. Every time theres an update with IOS theres issues Now my photo albums

are gone!! It’s disgusting and I’m seriously thinking of going to Samsung!

My iPhone XS ProMax stopped working completely right I after the iOS 18.1.1 software update! My phone was working perfectly before that update. I restarted the phone 20 times and I reseted it but still didn’t help!

The same happened to my friend’s IPhone 15 who bought the phone in May 2024. This update is a disaster and Apple support is not replying or responding to us at all !!!

The question is why iPhone 16 working perfectly and older models not. Did they intentionally do that to force people buy the new iPhone 16?????
