Network-name is provided by a Router. You can not change it from a single Mac unless you are logged in as the Admin on the Router.
You will need the User Guide for whatever Router you are using to understand how to change it, but the way to get access is to type the Router IP address into the Search Bar in a browser, and the Router will send you the login page, formatted as HTML text for your browser to display.
To use a different Router that already has a different name, click on the Wi-Fi icon on the menubar and select a different network from the ones available.
