Update

I started the iOS 16 update last night on my iPhone. It has been processing all night long and it’s still not finished. I cannot do anything with my phone any suggestions

It depends at what stage it is stuck.

If it is stuck on downloading then Restart the phone and check the list below

(If it is stuck on the Apple logo then you will be taking a risk restarting it and may have to restore it. )

Then Check all of these carefully:-

· you are on a good Wi-Fi, (from 15.4 iPhone 7 up, you may be offered cellular update) and that the router is connected to the internet.

· Plenty of spare storage – 6GB at least.

· on charge with more than 20%, OR

· off charge with more than 50%

· low power mode turned off.

· Check you have no Beta profile installed. (Check Settings, General, VPN & Device Management)

· no VPN installed (Check Settings, General, VPN & Device Management)
